Jay Z to host Mayweather vs. Pacquiao ‘Fight Weekend’ after party; VIP Tables to go way up to $50K

The much-awaited high-profile boxing fight of the century — Floyd Mayweather Jr versus Manny Pacquiao bout — may not be completed if there’s no post-fight party. The rapper and Tidal — an online music streaming service — founder Jay Z has already come out on top in the clash of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao after parties.

The American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur Jay Z will reportedly be hosting a May-weather-Pacquiao post-fight party at Marquee nightclub at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas, per TMZ report.

A source close to the situation told the celebrity news website that the exclusive party will be featuring V.I.P. tables that will cost up to $50,000 USD and is guaranteed to be a mega star-studded event. Jay Z’s post-fight party general admission tickets for men will cost around $100 while they’re $30 for ladies.

The “Jay Z – Marquee Nightclub Fight Weekend” party’s music will mixed by DJ Eric Dlux and the dress code listed as “upscale casual” on the Marquee website. “Dress code is Upscale-Casual; button down collared shirts and dress shoes for gentlemen. No baseball hats, tennis shoes, or open-toed for men,” the club said. Also, the Canadian artist Justin Bieber has already confirmed that he will be in the fight to support his good friend Mayweather.

However, Beyonce’s husband is not the only hip hop star American artist that will be taking over Sin City of Las Vegas. There were also reports that the female rapper Nicki Minaj, R&B singer Chris Brown and 2 Chainz are reported to be hosting their own celebratory bash.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be going head-to-head in the top grossing boxing fight in history on 2nd day of May 2015.

Manny Pacquiao’s camp is confident that the undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr will lose in the upcoming bout. “His legs are shot, he can’t move anymore. That’s why he goes against the ropes, to get a breather. He says he’s trying to make the fights more exciting for the fans, but all of that is bull,” said coach Freddie Roach.

Mayweather Jr and Pacquiao bout is scheduled for $400 million mega-fight at the MGM Grand Las Vegas on May 2nd in what is expected to be the highest grossing in the history of pay-per-view boxing sport.
