Rand PAUL for president 2016 USA

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday, April 7th, announced that he will be seeking the Republican nomination for United States president race.

“I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government,” Paul stated on his website.

Senator Rand Paul promises that he will be a different kind of Republican as he launched his 2016 White House presidential bid. Paul mums that he would highlight the conservative principles of reduced government and expenditures as he vowed to break up “the Washington machine.”

The senator from Kentucky was heavily criticized Republicans in Congress and recent Republican presidents for helping to drive up the federal debt and reducing personal liberties.

“We have come to take our country back,” as he addresses to his cheering supporters on a flag-draped stage in Louisville.

Rand Paul, a libertarian who has built a national reputation for challenging party orthodoxy, has formally launches his campaign in front of about a thousand supporters at a noon rally at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

Senator Paul is the second Republican to officially enter the presidential race. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has launched his presidential campaign late last month. In the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, Paul leads Cruz, to about 49 to 40 percent, as more acceptable to American voters.
