Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is making some massive changes to its popular mobile operating system – iOS – this year, so what are the chances that the iPhone will undergo a similar transition? Based on what we’ve been hearing, the likelihood is pretty high; Tim Cook, Sir Jony Ive and the rest of the team may show off not one but two new iPhone models for the very first time.
We’re expecting to see both a 5S – the traditional flagship smartphone – and a colorful 5C, but we’re still left behind in the dark on when they’ll officially arrive, how much they cost and where they’ll be available. If the leaks and rumors come to be believed, we may see an iPhone 5S with a fingerprint sensor on the home button, a 12- or 13-megapixel camera sensor with a dual-LED flash, and a gold-colored variant. There’s always potential for a top-secret consumer electronic product nobody was anticipating, too.
