The initial set of Black Friday 2016 deals on consumer electronics category from some of the major retailers and e-commerce companies including Dell, Amazon and Sam’s Club point to some steep discounts on Smart TVs and gaming systems.
With just few more weeks to go until the biggest shopping spending season of the year kickoffs, we now have an hints of what to expect when it comes to an assortment of other electronics deals.
Much similar to other retailers, the membership-only wholesale club Costco as well as the office supplies and related retailer Staples will be offering huge discounts on laptop computers and desktop PCs. Microsoft’s popular Surface Pro 4 2-in-1 computing slate for example, will be offered at $799.99 price tag at Staples, a $200 less than its regular price, however the $129.99 keyboard accessory is not included.
Costco, on the other hand, will have a bundle that includes the Surface Pro 4 tablet itself as well as the keyboard accessory for $250 instant discount from its current price in the market.

Staples Black Friday 2016 deals will be available on the its official website starting Thanksgiving Day and to those who prefer purchasing deals in the flesh, the office chain’s location outlets will be opened at 6:00 AM local time on Black Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. As for Costco, the wholesale superstore chain has not yet announced if it will offer its Black Friday deals online on Turkey Thursday, though its physical stores will welcome shoppers at 9:00 AM on the following day, Friday, Nov. 25th.
Computers aren’t the only electronics drawing attentions from Black Friday deals shoppers. Those consumers who are hunting down a Google Chromecast Ultra or Amazon Fire TV streaming stick will be eligible on saving $10 at Staples, cutting the price down to just $25 and $29.99, respectively.
Alexa assistant-powered Amazon’s Echo line of smart and home connected speaker will also see steep discounts, priced at only $139.99, down from its regular price of $179.99. The smaller and affordable version Echo Dot, which brings Alexa assistant to our existing sound system you already have, is pegged at just $39.99, a $10 off.
Meanwhile, Costco will be offering a a variety of gaming system Black Friday 2016 deals, including the Microsoft’s Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle that consists the console itself, a Battlefield 1 video game title and one of Microsoft’s premium Elite gaming controllers for a whopping $400, $50 less the its suggested retail price. A Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) Slim (not the Pro) bundle will also be up for grabs at Costco. The Sony PS4 Black Friday 2016 deal is bundled with pair of video game titles — Uncharted 4 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare — alongside two wireless controllers for just $350, a $50 discount.
